Frances Browne. Artist.
Frances started painting several years after she moved to live in England. Today, she paints her surroundings within the English landscape.
Frances creates her works by mixing together lashings of water with acrylics and using her enthusiastic 'splash-about style'; often flinging paint onto canvas, the effect ensures spontaneity as she retains and captures those fleeting and joyful expressions you see in the subjects she paints.
Frances pursued a career in publishing and advertising after graduating in fine art. Thenafter she worked for large Aid organisations on education and environmental projects in Africa. Once she moved to live in the UK, Frances started to indulge her passion for painting and today regularly exhibits in Gloucestershire.
Her original canvas art's been purchased by hotels and companies for their offices and reception rooms and also by many individuals wanting to brighten their homes with her colourful paintings.
