Born
in Africa, Frances moved to the UK in year 2000 and now lives in the
picturesque Cotswolds of England. Frances's paintings draw upon her
memories and recollections of her encounters with nature in landscapes
she loves to live in.
Frances
trainded in graphic design and then worked both in publishing and
advertising. She worked within several international organisations
creating material for local education needs and for environmental
projects in village communities in Africa. Frances now lives with
her family in the town of Cheltenham and finds time to paint and exhibit
in England today. Her original paintings are intimate and exciting,
they are filled with colour and spontaneity. They portray the enthusiasm
she has for nature and for the environment
she likes to explore with her faithful, scatty family friend - a cross
springer-border collie called Sarah.
Find
further images of Frances's paintings
of birds, and mixed media large art canvasses are on display at
the 'Little Bird Gallery',
the Cheltenham
Open Studios Art Event and the Cheltenham Open Air Art Exhibition
in the Imperial Gardens in Cheltenham.
